DualDB FAQ
Is DualDB a database replacement?
Usually no. DualDB is best understood as a layer that combines semantic retrieval with structured guarantees around your existing data landscape.
Most organizations already have operational databases, warehouses, lakes and application stores that should remain in place. Replacing everything is rarely the fastest or safest path to value.
DualDB is useful because it bridges worlds that usually stay separate: semantic understanding for natural-language interaction and structured guarantees for correctness, filtering, governance and traceability.
That makes it especially strong for copilots, analytics assistants and hybrid search systems where meaning alone is not enough and correctness needs to be enforced by data structure and access policy.
