DualDB FAQ
How is DualDB different from a vector database?
A vector database focuses on embeddings and semantic similarity, while DualDB is positioned around hybrid retrieval, structured guarantees and enterprise governance.
Vector infrastructure is useful, but enterprise AI often needs more than semantic similarity. It also needs filters, policy-aware access, schema alignment and traceability.
DualDB is designed around that broader requirement, making it more suitable when natural-language interaction has to coexist with structured operational rigor.
