What is hybrid search?
Hybrid search combines semantic search, keyword search and structured filters to improve precision and relevance.
Semantic search is powerful for meaning, but keyword search is still useful for exact matches, terms, codes and specific expressions. Structured filters add correctness and control.
That is why hybrid search is often a better enterprise pattern than vector-only search, especially in domains where governance and deterministic constraints matter.
